Knowledge is power programme.
We at KIPP2 believe that today’s learners are tomorrow’s leaders, which is why our tuition centre strives to provide quality education in order to help your child attain the grades they are aiming for.
We offer tuition in small classes and when requested, one to one in English, maths and science to students in KS1, KS2, KS3, and GCSES in multiple areas which include revision techniques, how to tackle exam questions, preparation for SATS and GCSE and much more.
On your first visit your child will be given an assessment in all subjects he/she requires help from KIPP2, which we will use to evaluate of both your child’s strengths and weaknesses, so that the teacher at KIPP2 can work together to help your child excel in his/her education.
Furthermore all our students receive regular weekly one to one mentoring where we work with our students to tackle any learning gaps, whether if it’s spelling, handwriting, times table, reading, etc, to boost their confidence and guide them to the right direction.
Friendly, enjoyable, helpful and interesting are the reasons why all our current students enjoy coming to KIPP2. It is a great learning environment, where your child can eliminate his/her fear and shine in their education.
Your child’s education is vitally important for their future. We endeavour to make sure that they get all the help they need to understand the work at hand and successfully pass their exams.
We strive to deliver a structured private tuition. Following an initial assessment, which highlights the students strengths and weaknesses. We set a study plan, specific to the students needs.
After each session, the students work is marked and homework is set. The student also works with a mentor to make sure that they are in track with their learning. We also set assessments at regular intervals to assess the progress of each student.
We understand that each child works at their own pace, so we will work with them at a rate that they fully understand everything that has been taught to them. We also try and help build their confidence, if confidence is low as this will enable them to succeed later on in life.
We encourage children who are having lessons with us to bring in their homework if they are having difficulty. We will help them understand the questions and set them work on the same topic if they struggle to grasp the topic. This will give them the confidence to work on their own as we will make sure they fully grasp the topic.
The Fun Bit!
We have our very own Tuck Shop, where students can buy snacks whilst they’re on their break.
We hold regular creative competitions, ranging from creative writing to art and prizes are given. We also strive to take our students to trips organised by our centre at the end of each term. Permission is needed from parents.
